Our rainy weekends this spring are a frequent topic of conversation, region wide, and this weekend marked the 13th-consecutive weekend with rain for the Boston area. And it's not just rain, as we've seen some downright chilly conditions along with that precipitation.

I'm not going to lie and say it's a lot of fun doing a six- or eight-hour shift knocking doors in raw conditions. But the upshot is that people tend to be home when the weather isn't great, and that's meant a very high answer rate on the doors, and a lot of excellent conversations with voters.

I want to especially thank our volunteers who have come out and knocked doors with us at our weekly canvassing events this spring. If you've yet to join us, we'd love to have you as the weather very likely improves with summer around the corner.

We're expanding our canvassing options, so there's bound to be a day and time that work for you!

And as you'll read below, we're offering ways to reach voters that don't involve walking -- or even leaving your home.

Phone Bank this Thursday: Answer the Call!

If you've been looking for a way to help out the campaign from the comfort of your own home, this is the first of many chances! We will be launching our phone bank this Thursday, June 12 from 6 to 8 PM. It will be a great time reaching out to our friends and neighbors to let them know about Jake and the campaign!

All you need to help out is a working phone and an Internet connection, and absolutely zero previous experience is required. We will do a launch on Zoom, with campaign staff available to make sure you're set up for success on the phones.

This is a great way to help out if you haven't been able to join us thus far for a weekend canvass, or if you haven't been able to join us to volunteer yet at all. Be on the lookout for more options like this soon!
