There's a lot going on this month between the end of the school year and the official start of vacation season. It's a busy time of year for everyone, and I'm no exception.

As your City Councilor-At-Large, I'm continuing to work for you while campaigning for mayor. For the fourth year I'm chairing the City Council's Finance Committee and leading the council's review of the Mayor's proposed budget.

It's about a month-long process that began last Thursday with the release of the proposed FY 2026 budget and the Mayor's presentation of the budget to the council. These budget meetings will mean less time for knocking doors, and that's where you come in.

I need your help knocking doors and talking to voters.

Please consider signing up for a shift at an upcoming canvass. We're doing them every Saturday, but if Saturdays don't work for you, we're going to be offering canvassing opportunities on other days as well.

Canvassing this Saturday: Let's Get Out There!

We are looking to make June our biggest month yet, and that means we need you all out there letting Somerville know about the opportunity to get the new leadership we need in City Hall! If you're waiting for the right time to get involved with Jake's campaign, this is it.

Regardless of your level of experience with campaigning, we want you out there with us! We are prepared to help train you and set you up for success. All you need to bring is your phone, walking shoes, and if you can bring a friend it'll be all the more fun. If you have already joined us, let your friends know and bring them along next time!
