The ballot is finalized for this year's elections, with three candidates certified in the race for mayor we'll be having a preliminary election on September 16. Our campaign feels positive about our chances of nominating and advancing to the municipal election in November, but we want to make sure we have a strong showing to send us into the fall with momentum.

I'm currently immersed in the budget process as your Chair of the City Council's Finance Committee, tasked with reviewing the proposed FY 2026 budget. That budget work takes away from my time on the doors and phones, so I need your help right now to reach people before summer vacations start up.

If you've been volunteering, I appreciate that so much. Please make sure your friends and neighbors know what you've been doing and encourage them to do the same. We have a core group of volunteers who have been showing up repeatedly for canvassing, and we'd love to see those ranks swell. If you could commit to doing at least two canvassing or phone bank dates between now and September 15, it would mean the world to me.
